1970 was an important year for the Porsche 911, because for the first time the cubic capacity was increased to increase performance. For the first time, a top speed of over 205 km/h was used as a series specification.
Compared to 1969, the production number of the 911 Coupé has roughly tripled and compared to 1968 almost tenfold. Around 11,000 coupés were built up until the 72/73 model change.
The example we offer was ordered on July 1, 1970 from Porsche Glöckler in Frankfurt. The extensive documentation can even be traced back to the original owner, a VW dealer from Bad Brückenau. The blood-orange coupe spent its entire lifetime with German owners who took more or less good care of this gem.
Nevertheless, the ravages of time cannot be hidden and we have found one or the other place that needs expert attention before the next approval.
The vehicle can now be viewed in our Appointment Hall in Parndorf. Appointments in the Appointment Hall are by personal appointment only. This is how we ensure that you feel well looked after and advised on your personal “Porsche appointment”.
